Yes ....knowledge is raining every where around us !
I always believe that we have to keep learning continuously so that we are able to think ,able to sustain and able to grow and add meaning to this existence in flesh and bones .
Was just thinking of my association with AID ..
I guess that had virtually served as an Management School for me .
the first lesson - Work on something productive, relevant and socially necessary and above all Identify that you what you really LOVE to do ..!
Second -Be Humble and Be sensitive to the fellow being around you, so you will turn to be god fearing- which will keep ur feet on ground in what ever you PLAN and keep your EGO to very low levels .Eventually you will start thanking god about what all he gave us, is still a luxury to lots of fellow human beings .
Third - The biggest resource unexplored in this world is good intentions and youth . Its seriously need a high level of Human Resource Planning and management.
Fourth - The strongest force on this earth is a THOUGHT ! an Idea can change your life an well many others..so keep on looking on for Innovation in everything you do ! also it reassures my belief that the strongest person on this earth is a real teacher who can give a direction to your mind , help you interpret meaningfully the observations you make ! So identify you mentor !
Fifth- to be a Leader you have to credible, participative and inclusive. And above all, ready to take the initiatives, calculated risks and courage to take every one along . Meticulous planning, and take the ownership of team failures are some of the traits I keep keep on learning. A simple fact i learn - Leader can delegate a task but not the responsibility !
Sixth - Team work and developing the teams- Collaborative efforts give you utmost satisfaction because with you ,so many other people learn and grow and share the responsibility which gives them sense of ownerships of the initiatives and courage to take initiatives and open up to the communications .While working in teams its just like that ,you enjoy the journey more rather than reaching destination ! In mean time you discover you are in company of some good souls who always keep up you on track and prevents you from deviating .

So its helps developing a broad , long term Quality Management Programme in the initiatives we take.
Seventh - Communication skills (CS)- Oh my God - how much i lack in it, in fact majority of people lack in effective CS. I wonder some time about the huge Cross section of the people i communicate with ,from a slum dweller to CEO of a company i communicate and then i have so varied profile of volunteer to coordinate . It really add to the joy of communicating , but also makes me realise - I speak too Much, not good for effective communication :)
